What do you want your day to look like? When you book your wedding with us, you will have access to a dedicated coordinator who will help you through the details. From menu and bar service to room setup and audio/visual equipment, your coordinator’s expert advice will put your mind at ease. Choose from our carefully prepared wedding menu or consult with us to create something completely original. We are here to bring your dream to life.
Downtown
There is no view of Des Moines more spectacular than from our clubhouse on the 34th floor of the Ruan Center in the heart of downtown. Celebrate with a backdrop of the Des Moines River, State Capitol, and miles beyond. Wow your guests with the elegance of our downtown clubhouse with its gleaming century-old chandeliers, built-in dance floor, and Mad Men-style bar.
West
Go contemporary. An adaptable space with an urban loft feel, the Ponderosa Room is stunning alone or completely transformed with draping, paper lanterns, or even chandeliers hanging from the vaulted ceilings. With access to our outdoor Ponderosa Patio, bringing your event out to the lakeside has never looked better. The Embassy Room can be utilized for rehearsal dinners, bridal lounges, or even as a get ready space the morning of your ceremony. Invite your guests to take the party outside with our tranquil lakeside garden and patio, a rare gem in the metro area.
Cuisine
Our Club Chefs have decades of combined experience in our kitchens working with only the highest quality ingredients to create a meal for your reception that will stand out from all the rest. An on-site organic garden means fresh herbs and produce when in season and featured on your plate. Work with our Wine and Spirits Director to select the perfect wine pairings and cocktail selections for your menu. We know that many of our clients have unique needs and wishes—use our wedding menu or allow us to tailor a menu to your specifications.
